Sleep and Rest
Sleep has a very important place as for as health is concerned we sleep for about one third of our life. After sleeping toxins are emitted from the body and minute cells get replenished which facilitates flow of fresh vigor in the body. A good night’s sleep recharges our worn out batteries there by refreshing and renovating our body and mind for the following day’s endeavors. Sleep has a very important place as for as health is concerned
            The old time days “Early to bed and early to rise, make a man healthy, wealthy and wise is very relevant to healthy lifestyle. For good refreshing sleep is the regularity and punctuality in going to bed and getting up in the morning. The amount of sleep necessary for good health varies from person to person depending upon his profession and lifestyle. A healthy adult requires six-seven hours of sleep. Find out your self what your optimum sleep requirement is.
            The bed should be firm but not too hard or soft. Pillows should not too high as they cause tension in the muscles of the neck and impede proper circulation of blood to the head. As yoga is necessary for good healthy so is relaxation. A person exhausted by hard work recaptures his strength immediately after resting. There is no better remedy for tiredness then rest. Both mental and physical rest is required, when both are gotten. Only then the state of complete rest is achieved. So take plenty of rest and engage yourself in pleasant recreation at least once a week. A complete rest from your daily routing and use it for restoring health and vitality by engaging yourself in pleasant recreation.
